Phil Benwell - Internet Student

Well, week 2 is here and tonight is the 2nd session of Elements of Computing. We have been scheduled in next week for a practical session so I’m looking forward to getting inside a computer again. Tonight we will be looking on the theory side of computer hardware so I should have a better understanding come tomorrow morning.

Thursday evening was also the first Photoshop class of the semester, it was sort of a get to know session but the schedule looks very promising looking at a range of tools including selecting, burning, cloning, dodging, healing, layers and loads more. I was hoping to follow up that class with a Photography class but that was full so instead I decided to give something else a go.

Last year I took out various books from the Uni library only to read a section or two relevant to my assignments and then return them. This year I’ve decided to go at it differently. I’m going to leave the books in the library and on the 2 evenings I’m at Uni see if I can work my way through it and pick up some web programming skills.

Lets see how this goes.
