Assignment Time
filed in Study on Feb.27, 2008
It was study time again last night and we were given the first part of our module assessment. The task is to create a stylesheet to a brief and apply it to a standard piece of XHTML code. We have been given both visual and textual descriptions of the intended outcome so the task should not be too difficult.
Personally I’d have preferred the style to be one of our own and to see how creative (or uncreative) we could be. I understand that to work in the industry, especially to start off with might mean working to tight design briefs so I guess I’m not too disappointed.
After the deadline and the work has been handed in and assessed I will put up the task and see if we can all create a little CSS Zen Garden of our own. Hey, if the blog takes off I might be able to offer a prize for the best stylesheet.

Phil your page looks great. I see that you put article tags on all your post’s. What advantage do you see there? Isn’t that the same as putting good keyword titles? I’m new to this but I’m learning and I find it very interesting?

The reason I tend to do both is that I am currently looking for a good cloud tag add in. I think the cloud tag would need you to specify what tags you want attaching to each blog post.
I’ve also just read today that technorati can also use these tags to help people find your blog.
