When I started getting interested in web design I found that I had to access alot of different sites, one site for HTML, another for CSS and yet another for graphics, the list goes on. What I intend to do over time is to build up a selection of tutorials that can take a beginner right through to the level I am currently at (where ever that may be).

My blog is based around my current studies at the University of Sheffield where I am studying for a degree in IT & Organisations. My idea for the blog came along after the first semester in which we had learned some HTML and I wanted to learn more about the internet and web design, hence the name of my blog "Internet Student".
During my first semester at University I took 3 modules and my notes where a mess. We had a session which helped us prepare ourselves for further studying and I came up with the idea to use a content management system (in this case my blog) to keep a track of my notes and of course any other musing I have along the way.
My latest project (besides my blog) is a web site I have created for a local recreational ice hockey team the Sheffield Vipers. Check out the Projects section to see what else I have been working on.
